What is the content of the workshop?
New business models will be possible by employing smart contracts to operate business processes and automate finance. But companies need the Euro on the blockchain to leverage smart contracts. Based on this, the technical setup of Cash On Ledger will be explained; Cash On Ledger operates with a E-Money license to let the Euro run on blockchain systems.
The following questions will be discussed:
- Which business models can be imagined? Which B2B settings can benefit?
- Which business processes can be automated using smart contracts with Euro?
- How can leasing, factoring, payment, escrow, etc. be implemented by smart contracts?
- How can machines be connected to blockchain systems and participate in the payment infrastructure (M2M payment)?
We are planning a hands-on-workshop for blockchain enthusiasts and people who are interested in making a contribution to the blockchain sector. Basic blockchain knowledge is required in order to participate in the discussions.
If this topic is of interest to you and you would like to contribute to EU policies and regulations for blockchain sign up below and join the discussion in our workshop. The results will be added to an EU report for our Blockchers project and presented in front of the EU to improve and reform EU policies.
Blockchers is a new Horizon 2020 project which will facilitate the revolution of distributed ledger technologies, DLTs, across European SMEs. We are managing a fund of 750,000€ aimed at financing real-world use cases across the EU of blockchain technologies in traditional sectors.
