Frankfurt School Blockchain Center and RTX21 enter into strategic partnership

Frankfurt am Main - July 17, 2020 - Frankfurt School Blockchain Center and RTX21 have entered into a strategic partnership. RTX21 is a digital property trading company, with the aim to digitalize the real estate investment value chain with a business model based on the tokenization of assets. RTX21 provides a useful tool for asset managers to digitize their portfolios and to achieve fast liquidity when needed, while still being able to participate actively and successfully in the profitable real estate market.

The Frankfurt School Blockchain Center is a think tank and research center which investigates implications of the blockchain technology, crypto assets and distributed ledger technology (DLT) for companies and their business models. Under the new partnership, FSBC will provide RTX21 with support to expand existing business and to develop new business opportunities.

RTX21 takes a pioneering role in the creation of a digital marketplace for real estate investments, bringing together property owners, institutional investors and asset managers. It is a digital property trading platform connecting global investors with local real estate operators on a single-asset investment basis by enabling investors to move from top down portfolio-based strategies towards direct investment opportunities as well as personalized lot sizes and risk strategies.

With its network, knowledge and extensive industry contacts, the FSBC is ideally positioned to assist RTX21 in expanding its services as the leading digital marketplace for real estate investments. In addition, FSBC will contribute further academic input on DLT and tokenization to support the further development of RTX21’s business model.

Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner, Head of FSBC, commented on the partnership: “Both parties involved will significantly benefit from the new strategic partnership. While we have won a high performing partner in the digital real estate sector, RTX21 can now benefit from our technical knowledge and related consulting services around blockchain, crypto assets and DLT”.
